GENERAL
Biography
Javier Ardila holds a Summa Cum Laude degree in Electronic Engineering and a Ph.D. in Engineering from the Industrial University of Santander (UIS). A specialist in integrated circuit design through the CI Brasil Program by Cadence, he has extensive experience in developing ASICs for automotive and industrial applications, working with CMOS technologies ranging from 180 nm to 22 nm. He has served as an integrated circuit design engineer at companies such as Freescale Semiconductors, NXP Semiconductors, HCL Technologies, Intel, SiTime, and Renesas Electronics, contributing to projects with high technological complexity.

Professor Javier Ardila is also one of the co-founders of OnSilicon, the first and only Colombian company dedicated to integrated circuit design. He is an active member and one of the leaders of the Integrated Circuits and Systems Research Group – OnChip. He is the author of publications in IEEE, holds a patent, and has served as a reviewer and technical committee member for IEEE CAS conferences and the journal IEEE Transactions on Circuits and Systems. His research interests include VLSI circuit and system design, power management circuits, high-speed serial interfaces, SerDes blocks, clock and data recovery techniques, as well as analog and mixed-signal circuit design.
