She holds a Bachelor’s degree in Spanish and Literature from the Universidad Industrial de Santander (UIS) and a Master’s degree in Didactics of French as a Foreign Language from the Université Toulouse II Jean-Jaurès in France. She is currently pursuing a PhD in Linguistic, Literary, and Cultural Studies at the Universitat de Barcelona in Spain. She is a French professor at the Escuela de Idiomas of the UIS and a researcher in the GLOTTA group and the DILCEPOLE student research group. Her areas of academic research and publication include Didactics of French as a Foreign Language, Phraseology, Phraseodidactics, Cognitive Linguistics, and Contrastive Linguistics.
