He is a researcher and professor with a strong academic and administrative background in higher education. His advanced training in Law, complemented by graduate and doctoral studies, has enabled him to consolidate his expertise in research and university administration. His academic work has focused primarily on the study of Labor Law, Social Security, and Fundamental Rights.

Throughout his professional career, he has contributed to strengthening the academic and institutional culture of Universidad Industrial de Santander (UIS), serving in teaching, research, and administrative roles. In university administration, he has held positions of significant responsibility, including Head of the Human Resources Division (Human Talent) and Director of the Office of Internal Disciplinary Control at UIS, contributing to the strengthening of institutional management, administrative transparency, and the development of university human talent.

Likewise, his experience as a researcher and director of academic projects reflects his commitment to the comprehensive education of legal professionals and to the generation of relevant legal knowledge that addresses the social and institutional needs of the country.
