GENERAL

Biography

Fabián Alirio Ríos Angarita is a professor in the School of Chemistry at the Universidad Industrial de Santander (UIS) and has been an active member of the Corrosion Research Group (GIC) and the Research Group on Interfacial Phenomena, Rheology, and Transport Simulation (FIRST), both affiliated with the Faculty of Physicochemical Engineering at UIS.

His outstanding academic background includes a Ph.D. in Chemistry obtained from New Mexico State University, a Master’s degree in Chemistry from the University of Texas, and a Bachelor’s degree in Chemistry from the Universidad Industrial de Santander. Professor Ríos Angarita’s areas of expertise encompass analytical chemistry, physical chemistry, electrochemistry, surface chemistry, and nanomaterials.
